James E. Milleville

Milleville, James Edward, age 85 of Canton. A faithful servant of Jesus Christ, Jim went to meet his Lord and Savior on January 17, 2023. Beloved husband of Anne. Loving father of Greg (Lori), Pam (Scott) Molitor, and Megan (Steve) Orsini. Proud and adoring grandfather of Aaron (Cassie), Allison (Brandon), Jim (Bonnie), Elizabeth, Bobby, Owen, Olivia, Vivienne, and Charlotte. Cherished great grandfather of Elliana, Caden, and Martin, who is on the way. Memorial Visitation Friday, January 27th 2-9 PM at Vermeulen-Sajewski Funeral Home, 46401 Ann Arbor Road West (between Sheldon and Beck), Plymouth. Family will gather with friends Saturday, January 28th 10 AM until the Saturday 11 AM Memorial Service at Risen Christ Lutheran Church, 46250 W. Ann Arbor Road, Plymouth. Jim was raised by Martin and Elizabeth Milleville on their family farm in Niagara Falls, NY. He was the oldest son with 3 younger sisters, Susan, Marilyn and Carol. Martin and Elizabeth were wonderful Christian parents who raised Jim and his sisters to love the Lord, serve others, have a strong work ethic and integrity in all they did. His young years at St. Peters Lutheran church started Jims love for The Word, missions and Bible study that continued all his life. Jim and Anne met at Capital University in Ohio, and married in 1961. Jim served in the Army reserves and then went to work at his father in laws business in Detroit, MI. That was where Jims food service industry career began, and continued until very recent years. He loved serving his customers and the many relationships he built over his career. Always with a smile. Jim set a wonderful, faithful and consistent example as a man of God to his wife, children, grandchildren, friends and church. He pursued his faith and lived it out so that in all he did, Christ would be glorified. Even as he battled cancer the last 3 years, Jim never complained, and instead sought out ways to serve others, support his church, be present with his family and deepen his faith in his Savior Jesus, whom he now dwells with in heaven. To God be all the Glory.
