Timothy B. Levandowski, October 7, 2024 age 80 of Livonia. Beloved husband of Sheryl for 19 years. Loving father of Tracy (Keith) Birkenhier, Timothy (Leah) Levandowski, Kristin Levandowski, and the late Deborah Haught. Proud grandfather (papa) of Breanna, Blake, Bradley, and Brandon Birkenhier; Karlie Earnhardt; and Evangeline and Liam Levandowski. Proud great-grandfather of Kage, Kayson, and Kimber. Dear brother of the late C. Richard (Susan) Levandowski, Bonnie Levandowski, and Barbara (Gary) Warner. Tim was born on July 25, 1944, in Plymouth, Michigan, to Mr. and Mrs. Clarence and Florence Levandowski. He was one of four children, growing up in a close-knit family. As a child, Timothy enjoyed spending time alongside his cousins, especially Darryle. Together, they made lasting memories, often exploring cornfields or playing baseball, two of their favorite pastimes. Tim graduated from Bentley High School in Livonia in 1962, and soon after, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from July 6, 1965, to June 20, 1967. During his time in the service, he earned several commendations, including the Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Rifle Sharpshooter Medal. After completing his service, Tim worked as a machine operator and in machine repair and maintenance, providing for his family through his hard work and dedication. As a Catholic, Tim lived a life guided by his faith and values. Outside of work and family, he found joy in many hobbies, particularly those that connected him to the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and sports enthusiast, with a special love for watching golf. He also had a passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and boats. His beloved dog Sophie was his constant companion and best friend, bringing him endless joy and comfort. The family has requested that you please take a moment and pray for Tim’s soul to be in constant communion with our Lord Jesus Christ now and for eternity. Amen. There will be a Committal Service on Wednesday, October 23rd at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly, MI 48442. Please arrive by 10:20 AM, as the service will begin promptly at 10:30 AM in the committal shelter. Services entrusted to Vermeulen-Sajewski Funeral Home, Plymouth.
