Kirti Sitaram Amin

Kirti Sitaram Amin, 79, passed away peacefully, surrounded by love on August 1, 2025 at his home in Canton, Michigan. Born on May 12, 1946 in Mota Karada, Gujarat, India, Kirti lived a life full of compassion, dedication, positivity, and a selfless, unwavering love for family and friends. Kirti was the son of Sitaram and Taramati and the devoted husband of Manju, his beloved partner of 50 years. Together, they built a family full of love, laughter, and joy. He was the loving father of Rushikesh (Amisha) Amin and Rupa (Tej) Raval. Kirti was also a proud dada/nana to Shayla, Sajan, Nalin, and Mallika. He is preceded in death by brother, Ravindra Amin and survived by his sister, Sudha (Satish) Doshi, as well as an ever growing circle of family and friends - each of whom carry forward his warmth, humility, wisdom, and positivity. A lifelong learner and accomplished electrical engineer, Kirti brought curiosity and care to everything he did. Kirti had a deep respect for all people and beliefs. He welcomed all religions and cultures, living his life with quiet grace, openness, and an enduring belief in kindness. He was a steady source of support for family, friends, and anyone in need—always present in moments of joy and challenge alike. He loved to travel, capture life’s beauty through photography, and share meaningful words that lifted others up. Over the years, he not only gave affirmations but collected them, a testament to how deeply he valued connection and reflection. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 3 at 9:00 am at Vermeulen-Sajewski Funeral Home, 46401 Ann Arbor Rd. W, (btwn Sheldon & Beck) Plymouth. Kirti will be remembered for his gentle strength, generous spirit, and the countless lives he touched. He leaves behind a legacy not only in the family he cherished but in every heart he encouraged with his kind words and unwavering presence.
