Jennifer Mae Nakhleh

Jennifer Mae Nakhleh was born on April 16, 1960, in Lansing, Michigan, to John and Genevieve Knierim. Jennifer entered the loving arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 21, 2024, at 12:20pm, surrounded by family and friends. Jennifer’s battle with Pancreatic Cancer was hard fought, but filled with grace and a peace that passes understanding. Jennifer is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Samir Emile Nakhleh. She is survived by her sister, Julie (Mark) King, and her beloved niece, Natasha King. Jennifer’s deep love for Jesus Christ gave her a love for others and that is what drew people to her. Jennifer was known as a beautiful “songbird” and performed in many venues. She was also a professional flautist. Jennifer was a light and fun-loving person, adored by all who knew her. To many friends, Jennifer was known as Jen-Star-Nakhleh-a-boo. Below is a summary of her many wonderful involvements and educational achievements: • Glencairn Elementary School • Hannah Middle School • East Lansing High School – Member of the marching band, playing flute • Olivet College – Attended for 1 year • Michigan State University – Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education • Calvary Bible College in Kansas City – Bachelor's degree in Music Performance, Minor in Theology • Continental Singers – Traveled as a singer throughout the USA and overseas • Life Action Ministries – Traveled as a singer throughout the USA and held administrative roles at the National Headquarters • South Bend Indiana Symphony – Prima flute soloist • Various Inter-State Theatres – Performed in “A Christmas Carol,” “Wizard of Oz,” among many other shows • Concert Ministries, Inc.
