Daniel Joy Pascua Calma, Age 75, has gone on to his heavenly home and eternal rest on January 28, 2021 with his family by his side. Beloved and devoted husband to Jenisia, married 54 wonderful years. Loving Father to his children, Eric (Gerry) Calma, Jenneth (Danny) Menchaca, Jinkee (Michael) Waite and Daniel Joy Jr. (Kari) Calma. Loving Grandfather to Augustina, Tyler, Daniel III, Brandon, Anthony, Giovanna, Mikey, Jonathon, Aaron, Aiden, Marcelina and Alayna, Great-Grandfather to Emberly, Roman, Christian and Daniel IV. Dear brother to Eutiquia (Marciano) Mapolo, Agripina (Romeo) Erece, Judith (Danny) Basco, and Ana Margarita (Manny) Manibog, step-brother to Delores Calma Peralta. Preceded by his parents Emilio and Margarita Calma, and his brothers Lalong, Atong, Teddy, step-brother Jimmy Calma, and his first born son Julius. Daniel pursued his dream by relocating to the United States from the Philippines with his wife Jenisia in 1972 to provide a better life for his family. The second eldest son of eight he continued to work hard to give his siblings the same opportunity. Having his family together was his greatest joy. He was a father figure not only to his children but to his many nieces and nephews. The Respected Pinuno/Leader of a large family, all of which look up to him and love him dearly. A God loving man that was a devoted member of Iglesia Ni Cristo. Always the life of the party that loved to sing karaoke, play Pusoy with his siblings, and fishing. A simple man that loved his Telesaria, basketball, boxing, and game shows (in that order). Goodbyes are not forever, it is not the end, you will be deeply missed until we meet again and you will be forever loved. Visitation Wednesday, February 3rd 1-9 PM at Vermeulen-Sajewski Funeral Home, 46401 Ann Arbor Road West, (between Sheldon & Beck) Plymouth.
