Loving grandmother of Kailee, Grant (deceased), Gizelle, Ava, Madison and Jayden. Loving sister of Nancy (Larry) Neely, Diane (Mark) Pokoyoway and Steven (Mary)Slivoski. Christine was born June 6, 1959, she made the best of all her 51 years of life, living life to the fullest. In her later years she developed a great passion for the game of golf. She absolutely loved golf; she loved it so much she would golf in the rain, snow, cold, or even on the hottest of days. In the winter, when golf was in hiatus, she tuned into HGTV (Home and Garden TV) and Judge Judy. Also during the winter months she liked to put her husband Tim to work remodeling the house from what she learned from HGTV. She made a nice home for her family. Chris did not sweat the small stuff, enjoying the simple things in life. She was funny, in a goofy kinda way. She could light up a room with her smile and words. She was outgoing devoted and determined to live each and every day like it was her last. In Feb 2002, she was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. She struggled for years with the disease and throughout that time she had a positive attitude, a strong faith in God, and showed great bravery and courage throughout her battle with lymphoma. She fought long and hard until the very end. Chris was adored by her sisters and twin brother. Her father passed away when she a young girl, her mother passed away in 2006. It was kinda funny. Tim and Chris married in 1992, they were soul mates, best of friends… they were each other’s everything. They loved to golf together and work on home improvement projects. Their love and devotion to each other was real. Chris loved her children with all her heart. She was a wonderful mom and tried her best to be there for every special moment of their lives. Her grandbabies, who called her Grammy, were her drive to keep fighting for her life and her inspiration; she loved them so much, we will miss her hugs,kisses and snuggles. Chris had many, many wonderful friends; she remained close with her friends from high school. Over the last eight years of her life she made some awesome new friends... good times and wonderful memories with all of them. The lady was popular, always the life of the party, what else can be said? The last year of her life she was happy, felt great and was able to enjoy her summer golfing, and spending time with family, and friends. She fought long and hard but the greatest gift she had was her relationship with God. She found great strength in God and that put her heart at peace.
