Phagu, Chirainjeow Lall, February 14, 2024 age 68 of Westland. Chirainjeow Lall Phagu (aka Buddy Boy and Chirain) was born on September 5, 1955, in Covent Garden, Guyana, South America, to the humble parents Phagu Sheocharan and Jagrani Sookram. He was the third of nine siblings, sharing his life with four brothers, the late Udit, Bisham, Chait, and Deo, and four sisters, the late Mahadeya, Basmattie, Tetrie, and Tajasree. From a young age, Chirain embodied the values of humility, compassion, kindness, and love that would define his life's journey. It is here that he first landed his eyes on the young and beautiful Parbati who would become his life long partner after getting married in October 1977. Together they shared an unbreakable bond for 46 years across two continents, two countries and numerous towns and cities where they lived. Their love was a testament to commitment, friendship and partnership. As a businessman in Guyana, Chirain displayed resilience and dedication in his endeavors growing the small family business during the difficult times of the 1970’s and 80’s in Guyana. In 1990, he made the courageous decision to immigrate to New York, USA, seeking new opportunities and a brighter future for himself and his family. Blessed with two sons, Avin and Vishal, Chirain poured his heart into nurturing and supporting his family in Guyana, New York, Connecticut and finally Michigan. His move to Michigan in 2019 marked a new chapter in his life, filled with the promise of cherished moments and new beginnings. Chirain's life was enriched by the presence of numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends, whom he held dear to his heart. Their shared memories and unwavering support were a source of joy and strength for Chirain throughout his life. Chirain Phagu's legacy shines brightly through the kindness he showed to all, the love he carried for his family, and the lasting impact he made on those whose lives he touched. As we bid him farewell, let us hold onto the precious memories and the enduring spirit of a humble man. Rest in peace, Chirain Phagu. Your gentle soul will forever be remembered and deeply missed.
