Beverly Ann Brass

Beverly Brass (nee Bullinger) age 64, of Canton, Michigan, passed away peacefully on September 25th, 2025. Beloved wife of Craig for nearly 34 years. Loving mother to Cameron Brass. Bev and Craig were married on October 19, 1991, in Jackson, MI, and built a wonderful life together in Plymouth where they raised their daughter, and then later moved to Canton. Beverly is also survived by her father William (Virginia Smith), siblings Julie Ballow (Owen), Bill Bullinger, Jr. (Lynn), Mary Lou Sambaer (Jimmy), Mike Bullinger, Pat Bullinger, and Chris Bullinger (Jody). She was predeceased by her mother Sally Bullinger. Born on February 14, 1961, in Jackson, MI, Beverly grew up with a deep love and appreciation of her Catholic faith and family. With a dozen aunts and uncles and over 20 cousins, spending summers at the cottage on Clark Lake was certainly a family affair. She enjoyed water skiing, swimming, and just being with family. Bev graduated from Jackson Lumen Cristi High School in 1979 and went on to graduate from Michigan State University in 1984. A longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Good Council Catholic Church in Plymouth, Beverly found strength in her faith, which served her well during a 30 year on again off again battle with brain tumors. Despite this, Beverly was able to raise a beautiful daughter, spend time with family, and do many things that brought her joy. She loved to spend time at their home in Frankfort, MI on Lake Michigan, as well as travel. The highlight of these excursions was a family trip to Italy, which culminated in attending the Easter Vigil at the Vatican. Visitation will take place on Monday, September 29th from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vermeulen-Sajewski Funeral Home, 46401 Ann Arbor Road West (between Sheldon and Beck) Plymouth. A Rosary service will begin at 7 PM, followed by time for family sharing. Beverly will lie in state on Tuesday, September 30th from 10 AM until the Tuesday 10:30 AM Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Good Council Catholic Church, 47650 North Territorial Road (at Beck) Plymouth. Bev will then be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth. Memorial contributions may be made to The Hermelin Brain Tumor Center at Henry Ford Hospital, Henry Ford Health, Development Office, 1 Ford Place #5A, Detroit, MI 48202-3450.
