Barbara E. Roble

Barbara Roble passed peacefully on September 2nd, 2024. She was born on January 30, 1936 to parents Newland Henry and Neola Catherine (nee Bachman) Begole. She was preceded in death by husband Raymond Roble, sisters Joan Rendel and Jean Satterthwaite and brother-in-law Harland Rendel. She is survived by multiple family members including Brother-in-law, Ron Satterthwaite, as well as many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews including Jay and Erin Crisp (children Breanna and Joshua Dennes), Rodney and Julia Satterthwaite (children Micah and Jonah), Curtis and Emily Satterthwaite (children Henry, Liam, and Maggie), and Lance and Amy Satterthwaite (children Hunter and Jordan). Also survived by Raymond's children Glen and Suzanne. Barb was born and raised as a farm girl in Saline, MI, and many of those values, including hard work and patience, stuck with her throughout her life. She was the epitome of a person who put God first, engaging in countless charity events, volunteering her time and talents in art and music at senior centers, participating in Church functions, and spreading kindness and love to all those lucky enough to share in her glorious life. Barb was a wonderful friend and extraordinary neighbor; caring for all those around her as if they were her own blood. She was a long-time resident of Plymouth, MI and worked as a secretary at multiple Michigan Universities. Barb was bright, witty, strong, generous and sincere, and although she is no longer sharing this earth with us, she will continue to live in the hearts of all those fortunate enough to know and be known by Barb. The ripples her presence made on the world will continue to spread joy and kindness as she will go on being dearly loved and missed. Visitation Wednesday, September 4th from 4 until 8 PM at Vermeulen-Sajewski Funeral Home, 46401 Ann Arbor Road West (between Sheldon and Beck) Plymouth. Funeral Service Thursday, September 5th at 10:30 AM, also at the funeral home. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Saline.
